Made by Pierco, these plastic frames require less work than crimp foundation and are ideal for installing in old wooden frames. They are coated with a thin layer of beeswax.
To further increase the likelihood of acceptance by your bees and a more rapid buildup of comb, an option for a heavier layer of beeswax is available.
Available in black or white. Many beekeepers like to use black foundation for brood frames and white foundation in honey supers.
Hint: This foundation works best with grooved top bars.
