This feeder can be used in two scenarios:
- Inside the outer cover of a Lyson hive
- As a replacement insert for the Wood-Framed Hive Top Feeder
Includes two ladders, helping the bees rest while consuming feed and avoid drowning.
Remove inner cover and place directly on top of the top box that has bees in it. (Outer cover should go directly on top of the feeder.)
The bees enter from the bottom of the feeder and are kept from the majority of the syrup by a plastic insert that acts as a wall between the access and the syrup so the bees will not drown.
Holds around 1.75 gallons (6.75 liters) of liquid food.
For 10 frame Langstroth or Lyson hives.
