We recommend feeding these patties in the spring, about six weeks prior to the major honey flow, in order to stimulate brood production. The pollen stimulates the hive allowing the colony to be at maximum strength for the honey flow.
We recommend feeding 1-2 patties on top of the brood chamber for maximum consumption.
These patties can be kept in the fridge until they are ready to be used. If you plan to keep for an extended period of time, separate the patties, place each in plastic wrap and store in the freezer.
Case of 10 patties, weighs approximately 10 lbs.
