Placed on the top box of your Langstroth hive, this inner cover allows the escape of moisture as well as the circulation of fresh air through the hive, when properly used with an outer cover.

During winter, turn the notch side of the downwards, to provide an upper entrance and better ventilation. In the summer, turn the notch side upwards.
Made of loan plywood or smooth, double-tempered Masonite and a pine outer rim. Design may vary slightly depending on availability.
